CEO announces retirement

I have been with the Credit Union since 1993 and will be retiring at the end of the year.  I would like to take this opportunity to introduce Mary Jo Meeks to the Credit Union membership.  Mary Jo joined our team in March of this year after serving as CEO of Cornerstone Credit Union for 15 years.  She has more than 20 years of credit union experience and her focus has been, and will continue to be, member services.  It is her goal to make each member truly appreciate the services and opportunities the Credit Union provides to its member-owners.  She will assume the duties of CEO of United Service Credit Union in January of 2009.

I want to thank the membership, directors and staff for their support during my time with the Credit Union and I’m confident the Credit Union is well positioned to prosper and serve its members for many years to come.  As I enter my retirement, I look back fondly at the opportunities I have had to work with the Directors, Staff and the outstanding member-owners of this organization.  I have gained insight and understanding during my tenure, and it has truly been my pleasure to have worked with so many outstanding individuals.

I will depart early January for AZ where I will spend a few months, hopefully in warmer weather.
